TL;DR
Staff Solution Architect, China (AI): Designing enterprise-grade AI, ML, and LLM solutions for Cytiva’s China IT organization with an accent on scalable architecture, data governance, responsible AI, and integration between China-based and global platforms. Focus on leading end-to-end solution design, managing model lifecycles and LLMOps, and aligning local architectures with global technology strategies.
Location: Shanghai, China; hybrid work arrangement with part-time work at the company location and part-time remote work from home.

What you will do
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture, translating business needs into technical designs, architecture blueprints, documentation, and delivery plans.
- Design secure, scalable, maintainable enterprise architectures that integrate with existing platforms, systems, and data environments.
- Architect and implement AI, ML, and LLM solutions, including prototypes, proofs of concept, and scalable applications.
- Define architecture patterns and reusable components with Digital, Data, and AI teams.
- Participate in global design reviews and align China-specific solutions with global platform roadmaps and architecture standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of hands-on experience in software development, data engineering, or AI/ML solution delivery.
- Experience with AI technology stacks such as Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, Azure AI, or the OpenAI API.
- Experience designing enterprise AI solutions, including model monitoring, versioning, drift detection, and LLMOps.
- Knowledge of responsible AI, data readiness, data governance, metadata management, cloud architecture, SaaS implementation, RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin are required. Experience with both global AI platforms and China-compliant LLMs, including Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Baidu, Alibaba Qwen, or Tencent, is required.

- Experience with WeChat or WeCom solutions.
- Architecture experience in China-focused digital transformation projects within a multinational organization.
