Japan Desk Head

Location: Warsaw, Poland, with hybrid work

What you will do

• Develop and execute the strategy for Japanese corporate clients operating or investing in Central and Eastern Europe.
• Build senior-level relationships with Japanese corporates across Poland and the broader CEE region.
• Identify new business opportunities and support clients throughout their investment and growth journeys.
• Connect clients with international banking networks, product specialists, and sector expertise.
• Coordinate with teams in sectors, lending, transaction services, financial markets, and other product areas.
• Drive commercial growth while maintaining strong risk management, compliance, and sustainable business practices.

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in corporate banking or international business development.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and originating new business.
• Strong understanding of corporate banking products, financial markets, regulatory requirements, and risk management.
• Experience working with multinational corporate clients and international teams.
• Fluent English is required; Japanese language skills are an advantage.
