Junior Credit Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Evaluate client credit and financial data to assess lending risk and recommend access to available capital facilities.
• Prepare credit ticketing notes describing the level of lending risk.
• Collaborate with the credit management team to maintain and improve decision-making processes and portfolio performance.
• Contact clients when needed to support in-progress credit applications and process underwriting overrides.
• Apply knowledge of the credit lifecycle, including collection processes, while using the lending platform effectively.
• Handle multiple daily tasks and ad-hoc projects with a high level of accuracy.

Requirements

• Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Bachelor of Commerce degree in Administration, Operations, or Finance.
• Two to three years of experience in a credit environment, preferably at a financial institution.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and maintain accuracy.
• Strong focus on delivering customer experiences beyond expectations.

Nice to have

• Experience working with CRM tools such as Zendesk.
