Engineering Technician (Electrical)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; on-site work in the electrical engineering lab

What you will do

• Build physical PWA and functional prototypes from engineering schematics and design files.
• Perform precision soldering and rework on prototype samples for engineering teams.
• Conduct basic electrical and functional tests using laboratory equipment and organize test data for engineering review.
• Coordinate component, equipment, and prototype material requests, including PR and PO creation.
• Prepare and ship samples, prototypes, and test fixtures to global teams.
• Maintain the electrical engineering lab, including tools, material stock, equipment calibration, and repairs.

Requirements

• Hands-on proficiency in precision surface-mount and through-hole soldering and component assembly.
• Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other common laboratory equipment for basic testing and debugging.
• Strong attention to detail in data collection, documentation, inventory, and logistics records.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, vendors, and remote teams while managing multiple administrative and physical tasks.
• Ability to manage PR/PO generation and shipment handling.

Nice to have

• Electrical engineering background or equivalent experience.
• English proficiency.
