Manufacturing Engineer II Senior (Semiconductor)

Materials science and engineering company developing and servicing equipment used in semiconductor chip and advanced display manufacturing.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate product improvements and new product releases with other engineering functions.
• Apply design for excellence principles to estimate and reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Determine time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies.
• Identify root causes and corrective actions for assembly and system-testing issues, perform Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, and prepare reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Ability to work with extended standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in tight spaces and environments with potentially difficult noise levels.
• Ability to distinguish between colors.
• Ability to work in a clean room while using required personal protective equipment.

• Strong conceptual knowledge and technical experience for everyday problem-solving.
