Senior Networking Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, California, United States. The role includes international and domestic travel for on-site deployments and commissioning.

What you will do

• Architect, deploy, and maintain corporate LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, MPLS, and private interconnect infrastructure.
• Build highly available, secure, and performant connectivity across data centers, customer sites, cloud environments, and partner networks.
• Develop network automation and Infrastructure as Code workflows using Ansible, NetBox, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage firewalls, VLAN segmentation, ACLs, zero-trust controls, monitoring, diagnostics, incident response, and operational support.
• Design redundant paths, failover mechanisms, and disaster recovery playbooks for AI infrastructure deployments.
• Coordinate network installation projects with engineering, operations, data center, software-defined infrastructure, solution architecture, vendors, and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of network engineering experience, preferably focused on AI infrastructure.
• Experience with Linux host network configuration, complex technical projects, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving.
• Knowledge of physical network hardware, NetDevOps, Cumulus Linux, or SONiC.
• Strong communication, collaboration, project management, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally and domestically for on-site deployments and commissioning.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA InfiniBand, Spectrum Ethernet Platform, and RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE).
• Experience with advanced networking technologies for AI infrastructure.
