Membership Operations Associate (Healthcare)

Salary: $23.00–$34.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform daily operational work across enrollment, billing, and Medicare/Medicaid member data and payment reconciliation.
• Investigate discrepancies, resolve issues within established procedures, and escalate complex cases to management.
• Protect data integrity and payment accuracy across the membership lifecycle through analytical review.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation supporting CMS and organizational compliance.
• Identify workflow improvements and collaborate with cross-functional partners on operational initiatives.
• Explore AI and large language model tools for data review, exception identification, and pattern detection.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare operations, Medicare Advantage, enrollment, billing, or data reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated accuracy in high-volume, data-driven work.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, investigate discrepancies, and meet deadlines with limited oversight.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity about AI and LLM tools and interest in applying them to operational processes.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid operations and CMS systems.
