Senior Designated Services Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and Engineering on feature gaps, reliability concerns, and documentation improvements.
• Diagnose and resolve complex enterprise infrastructure issues, escalating cases to Engineering when required.
• Support customers, pre-sales engineers, partners, and resellers with technical expertise.
• Monitor hirify.global systems remotely, identify potential issues, and manage customer cases through the ticketing system.
• Create internal and customer-facing documentation, including FAQs and knowledge-base articles.
• Participate in on-call, follow-the-sun support rotations and occasional regional or international travel.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles solving complex enterprise infrastructure issues.
• Experience with L3 or higher enterprise infrastructure support across Linux-based storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of distributed storage, Linux/Unix administration, networking technologies including Infiniband, Ethernet, DPDK, and UCX, and cloud computing.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash, with experience automating system monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of POSIX, NFS, S3, log management, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English and Mandarin; availability for remote work from Taiwan.

Nice to have

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Kubernetes, containers, LXC, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.
• Experience managing large-scale HPC clusters.
• Strong technical writing skills and experience collaborating across customer support and product development.
