What you will do
- Lead and support quality engineering practices across delivery lanes to improve release reliability and reduce rework.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable end-to-end automated testing solutions using Playwright.
- Define quality strategies, test coverage expectations, and quality gates with engineering and product partners.
- Test features at story level, validate cross-team dependencies, and support demo and release readiness.
- Integrate testing into the SDLC through CI/CD pipelines, defect prevention, and test data management.
- Mentor engineers and continuously improve automation and quality practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or QA Test Engineering in agile development environments.
- Experience designing and maintaining E2E automation frameworks, preferably with Playwright.
- Experience testing APIs and microservices, including REST, integration testing, and contract validation.
- Programming experience with JavaScript or TypeScript preferred; Java or Python also accepted.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions and applying quality gates.
- Strong understanding of shift-left testing, quality risk mitigation, analytical problem-solving, and mentoring.
