Automated Functional Validation Engineer (SoC) (Python/Hardware Validation): Developing and optimizing automated functional validation tools, scripts, and CI/CD infrastructure for Intel SoC hardware with an accent on validation automation, data visualization, and hardware health assessment. Focus on debugging platform hardware, firmware, and silicon issues, performing root cause analysis, and improving system-testing efficiency.
Location: Hybrid role based in Guadalajara, Mexico, with time split between the assigned site and off-site work.

What you will do
- Develop, enable, and optimize functional validation testing tools and methodologies for SoC hardware.
- Write automation scripts and build end-to-end validation infrastructure to streamline test execution.
- Collect, store, and visualize validation data in centralized locations.
- Define automation tools for assessing hardware health under varied conditions.
- Debug platform hardware, firmware, and silicon issues and identify their root causes.
- Develop and deploy CI/CD solutions for system testing and collaborate across validation teams to improve lifecycle efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in validation automation, scripting, and debugging.
- Proficiency in Python for automation script development.
- Familiarity with system architecture and SoC microarchitecture, plus strong hardware validation and root cause analysis skills.
- Advanced English proficiency required.
- Unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico required; employment-based visa or immigration sponsorship is not available.
Nice to have
- Master's or PhD in a related field with 2+ years of experience.
- Experience deploying CI/CD solutions in a testing environment.
- Expertise in post-silicon validation and debugging techniques.
