Resident Program Coordinator

What you will do

• Plan, develop, and implement lifestyle programs, social activities, wellness sessions, educational programs, recreational activities, and spiritual support.
• Organize outside trips and events and use community resources and independent contractors to expand programming.
• Survey and interview residents to understand their interests, talents, and satisfaction with activities.
• Build relationships that encourage resident participation and support quality of life.
• Observe resident behavior and functioning and report significant changes or concerns to appropriate staff.
• Assist with the annual department budget and supervise Resident Program Assistants when needed.

Requirements

• No experience is required; at least six months of professional programming or activities experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate and listen professionally with residents, guests, and coworkers.
• Ability to protect residents’ dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Enthusiasm for building relationships with residents and coworkers.
• Ability to work onsite at the community in Snellville, Georgia.
