Member Service Representative (Full-Time) (Banking)

Location: Glenarden, Maryland, United States — on-site. The role may require working at or permanently transferring to neighboring branches within a reasonable commuting distance.

Salary: $23.75–$27.55 per hour

What you will do

• Provide guidance on checking, savings, certificates, IRA, trust, lending, and credit and debit card products.
• Assist members with opening and maintaining deposit accounts, loans, and other financial products.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and other routine branch transactions.
• Research and resolve basic account discrepancies and service requests.
• Educate members about relevant products and identify opportunities to strengthen member relationships.
• Handle cash and negotiable instruments securely while following banking procedures.

• Research, analytical, problem-solving, and sound judgment skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-production, changing environment.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and adapt to evolving technologies.
• Ability to follow federal and institutional regulations for financial products and services.
• Availability to work Monday through Saturday according to business needs.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of deposit and loan products, services, and operational procedures.
• Customer service experience, preferably in banking or another financial institution.
