Summer Associate Internship (Business Intelligence Analyst)

Location: Hybrid, with work locations in Vienna, Virginia; Pensacola, Florida; Winchester, Virginia; Jacksonville, Florida; or Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Central Time.

Salary: $26.44–$46.88 per hour

What you will do

• Develop predictive staffing risk models and branch staffing dashboards to forecast gaps and support proactive workforce decisions.
• Build workforce planning models that identify workload drivers and improve staffing and resource allocation.
• Create simulators for modeling the effects of branch growth, workload changes, employee shrinkage, and strategic initiatives.
• Analyze multi-branch market strategies to support new branch openings, specialized service distribution, and scalable expansion.
• Analyze complex operational data and create actionable recommendations for workforce strategy.
• Document dashboards and present analytical results to stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a master's degree in business analytics, data science, or business administration.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Experience with research, analysis, and data manipulation.
• Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, Azure Data Studio, SQL, Python, GitHub, or R.
• Ability to work with large datasets, communicate insights through data, and present to executive audiences.
• Ability to work independently and think creatively.
