Summer Associate (Business Intelligence & Data Analytics)

Location: Hybrid in Pensacola, Florida, or Vienna, Virginia, United States. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Eastern Time.

Salary: $26.44–$46.88 per hour

What you will do

• Develop interactive dashboards, scorecards, visualizations, and operational reports using Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Analyze loan boarding activity, processing trends, exception volumes, workflows, and performance metrics.
• Gather, validate, and interpret operational data from multiple systems and sources.
• Define KPIs and operational metrics that support business performance monitoring and decision-making.
• Translate complex datasets into executive-ready presentations and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, application engineers, product teams, and technology teams while participating in Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business analytics, data analytics, information systems, data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later and enrollment at an accredited college or university.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools, plus basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with data visualization concepts and dashboard design.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences and manage multiple priorities in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, or other analytical tools.
• Familiarity with financial services, lending, mortgage operations, or banking.
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, executive presentations, KPIs, or operational reporting solutions.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps.
