Summer Associate Internship (AI Engineer)

Location: Onsite in Vienna, Virginia, United States, at 820 Follin Lane SE. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Salary: $26.44–$46.88 per hour.

hirify.global develops and supports financial services while expanding the use of AI-driven solutions through its Enterprise Data and Information Management department.

What you will do

• Research and analyze quantitative and qualitative information for AI engineering projects.
• Assist with the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions.
• Support small projects or components of larger initiatives within the department.
• Process and update data in automated systems and generate or analyze reports.
• Collaborate with staff across different levels and provide day-to-day operational support.
• Support business strategy and initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university, with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Strong foundation in Computer Science or Data Science.
• Programming experience with languages such as Python.
• Understanding of Generative AI concepts and large language models, including their applications and limitations.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI search techniques, vector databases, LangGraph, and retrieval-augmented generation frameworks.
• Knowledge of data engineering, APIs, cloud development, research, analysis, and problem-solving.
