Senior AI Application Engineer

Location: New York, NY, USA; eligible for hire in select U.S. locations only

Salary: $178,000–$215,000 yearly

What you will do

• Architect, design, and implement scalable multi-agent systems that automate complex, multi-step business processes.
• Translate existing processes into agentic solutions and develop new multi-agent architectures.
• Build solutions with agent orchestration frameworks such as Google ADK, LangGraph, and CrewAI.
• Design secure tool-calling architectures that connect LLMs with internal databases, CRMs, and APIs.
• Implement LLMOps and AgentOps practices while mitigating prompt injection, hallucination loops, and unauthorized tool execution.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and off-site personnel; some travel may be required.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, artificial intelligence, software engineering, or a closely related field.
• 1–7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expert-level Python and/or TypeScript proficiency, plus Rust proficiency.
• Experience with MCP architectures, agentic design patterns, LLM APIs, and open-weight models.
• Experience with vector and graph databases, RAG architectures, GraphRAG, and hybrid search.
• Strong cloud architecture and containerization skills with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Docker/Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Enterprise-scale deployment experience with multi-agent architectures.
• Three or more years of experience in generative AI, LLMs, or cognitive architectures.
• Expert-level Rust proficiency and extensive RAG experience.
