Senior Manager, Rare Disease Commercial Operations (Japan)

What you will do

• Lead customer targeting, segmentation analysis, and key account planning for the Japan rare disease business.
• Create reports, presentations, and commercial insights to support business decisions.
• Develop patient cohorts, treatment journey maps, and demand forecasts.
• Manage commercial field communications, approval processes, and customer and activity data through CRM and master data processes.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding with HR, IT, and key stakeholders.
• Support HCP contracting, meetings, events, sponsorships, and memberships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology commercial experience.
• At least 5 years of global collaboration experience in commercial operations or an equivalent field.
• Understanding of the Japan rare disease biopharmaceutical market, laws, and regulations, with Japan field support experience.
• Expertise in data analysis and storytelling, with experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Veeva, and analytical tools.
• Intermediate English and native-level Japanese communication skills required.

• Biopharmaceutical field operations experience, particularly in rare disease.
