Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developer

Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States; remote work from home

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps.
• Develop Power Automate cloud flows, approval workflows, Power Pages applications, and Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Design Dataverse and RDBMS data models, business rules, security roles, and environment strategies.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure services, connectors, and APIs.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and reusable solution components.
• Support audits, documentation, code reviews, architecture discussions, and developer mentoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse or RDBMS, and Power BI.
• 5+ years of Application Lifecycle Management experience, including Dev/Test/Prod deployment and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of security, role-based access control, SQL queries, and environment strategy.
• 5+ years of experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical designs.
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects in a shared-services environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Copilot Studio or other conversational AI platforms.
• Government, public-sector, or other regulated-environment experience.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, Dynamics 365, Azure Logic Apps, Functions, or API Management.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
