Newscast & Streaming Producer

Broadcast news operations producing television newscasts, digital content, and original streaming programming for the Northwest Arkansas community.

What you will do

• Produce impactful evening television newscasts and make editorial decisions during breaking news.
• Write and edit daily news stories for television and digital platforms.
• Develop original programs for 479 First and contribute to digital and social content.
• Prepare and assist with OBS recordings and live productions, including camera, audio, and lighting setup.
• Coordinate with anchors, reporters, production staff, talent, management, and creative services.
• Manage encoding, uploading, platform compatibility, and visual elements such as graphics and opens.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, TV/Film, or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong news judgment and understanding of audience needs.
• Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills.
• Strong digital, social media, and streaming platform skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with video journalists, anchors, editors, and engineers.
• Television or radio broadcast and production experience is preferred.
