Talent Acquisition Data Engineering & Analytics Graduate Intern

Location: Remote or hybrid if local to a hirify.global worksite; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. Strong preference for candidates in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zone.

Compensation: up to USD 50 per hour.

What you will do

• Establish connections between Talent Acquisition source systems and Snowflake in partnership with Data Engineering and IT.
• Build automated data refresh, data quality checks, monitoring, and a query-ready dimensional data model.
• Write SQL transformations for recruiting requisition, funnel, hiring activity, historical status, and pipeline snapshot analytics.
• Develop a Power BI dashboard suite covering executive reporting, pipeline health, funnel conversion, time-to-fill, offers, sourcing, recruiter workload, and operational SLAs.
• Build a governed semantic model with certified DAX measures, row-level security, and optimized performance.
• Document the architecture and data lineage, create user guides, deliver enablement sessions, and present insights to Talent Acquisition leadership.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX measures, and data modeling.
• Experience with Python or R for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Working knowledge of dimensional data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and data pipelines.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
• Experience with automated refresh, orchestration tools, APIs, system integrations, or large cloud datasets.
• Experience with Power BI Service administration, Git, or analytics engineering practices.
• Familiarity with AI/ML techniques and interest in workforce analytics.
