Member Of Technical Staff 4 (C++/Go/Python)

Location: Hybrid, with onsite work at least 3 days per week in applicable locations including San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo. Current authorization to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship is required.

Salary: USD $147,000–$294,000 per year, plus potential sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and develop reliable, efficient, high-performance data-path software for enterprise and hybrid cloud environments.
• Design solutions for complex distributed systems and customer requirements.
• Improve the performance, scalability, and resiliency of distributed storage systems.
• Collaborate with development, testing, documentation, and product management teams to deliver high-quality products.
• Engage with customers and support teams to resolve production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• Familiarity with operating system internals, distributed systems, and software design and implementation practices.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems concepts and frameworks such as MapReduce, Zookeeper, and consensus protocols.
• Fluency in multithreaded programming and the ability to debug complex concurrency issues at scale.
• Experience with C++, Go, or Python.
• Current authorization to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship.
