Senior Data Analyst (Survey Research)

Salary: $96,000–$186,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead survey analytics engagements by clarifying business questions, defining analytical approaches, and adapting to changing inputs.
• Design and advise on primary survey research, including sampling, questionnaires, segmentation, MaxDiff, and Conjoint analysis.
• Own end-to-end delivery from proposal support and analysis through insights and client-ready outputs.
• Maintain data quality and analytical standards through validation and QA aligned with ISO and global processing standards.
• Communicate complex findings clearly as a trusted analytics consultant and methods expert.
• Partner with product, technology, design, and research teams to support analytics productization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent qualifying education and experience.
• 5–6 years of experience in primary survey-based market research, consulting, data analysis, or a comparable client-facing environment.
• Hands-on experience with statistical testing, regression, segmentation, pricing research, MaxDiff, and Conjoint methods.
• Experience delivering revenue-generating analytics or research engagements with accountability for quality and timelines.
• Proficiency in R, Python, SAS, or similar tools, with the ability to produce client-ready narratives and visualizations.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in ambiguous or evolving situations.

Nice to have

• Experience formalizing analytical or research processes and standards in evolving or scaling teams.
• Experience supporting analytics productization or reusable research solutions with product or technology teams.
• Experience with SQL, Spark, Scala, Power BI, Tableau, data science, or related fields.
• Experience in retail, merchandising, healthcare, or eCommerce.
