Escrow Specialist I (Commercial Banking)

What you will do

• Establish, maintain, and monitor escrow accounts and payments in the core banking system.
• Review escrow analysis statements and process disbursements for real estate tax and insurance invoices.
• Serve as a point of contact for insurance agents, taxing authorities, customers, and Community Bank lending staff.
• Research and resolve questions, payment issues, and escrow-related problems.
• Prepare customer correspondence, scan and link documentation, and ensure accurate data entry.
• Follow bank policies, federal escrow regulations, confidentiality requirements, and assigned training deadlines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least one year of computer experience, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong accuracy, organization, troubleshooting, written and verbal communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and exacting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with extended hours as needed.
• Ability to operate customary business equipment and technology, with or without accommodation.
