Data Center Cooling Engineering Intern

Location: Onsite in Oklahoma City, OK; Dyersburg, TN; or Shakopee, MN

Builds liquid cooling and large-scale air cooling systems for modern data centers, including AI and hyperscale environments.

What you will do

• Collaborate with Product Engineering and New Product Development teams on data center cooling solutions.
• Support research, testing, product development, engineering analysis, and design reviews.
• Review engineering drawings and specifications for product designs, layouts, and modifications.
• Gather, organize, and analyze engineering data for product development and continuous improvement.
• Support manufacturing operations by entering job data, monitoring production activities, and assisting with process improvements.
• Provide technical support, participate in project meetings, and contribute ideas that improve product performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Expected graduation in December 2027 or later.
• Ability and willingness to work onsite at one of the listed U.S. internship locations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and objectives independently.
• Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, integrity, professionalism, accountability, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Current junior standing in an accredited engineering program.
• Exposure to engineering design software, CAD tools, or manufacturing processes.
• Interest in product development, thermal systems, HVAC, manufacturing, or data center infrastructure.
