Platform & Site Reliability Engineering Internship (AWS)

What you will do

• Join the Site Reliability Engineering team as an engineer and contribute to production work rather than a separate intern-only project.
• Build software and services supporting the deployment, operation, and maintenance of hirify.global products.
• Improve how applications are released, operated, monitored, and maintained.
• Work with AWS, cloud services, production systems, APIs, and backend services.
• Investigate issues, improve system reliability, and apply programming and problem-solving skills to infrastructure challenges.
• Take ownership of well-scoped work, communicate progress, and collaborate with engineers.

Requirements

• Foundation in software engineering and experience with at least one programming language.
• Interest in learning new software, systems, technologies, and Go.
• Interest in the full software lifecycle, including building, deploying, operating, and maintaining applications.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in the hybrid Columbus, Ohio location.

Nice to have

• Experience beyond coursework, such as building or deploying an application, completing an internship, participating in a hackathon, or developing a side project.
