Senior Director, Innovation, Data & Analytics (IDA) Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid role requiring 2 to 3 days per week on site at NYHQ, Collegeville, PA, Cambridge, MA, Groton, CT, any hirify.global site in Europe, or QC–Montreal. Permanent U.S. work authorization is required for U.S. employment locations.

Annual base salary: $230,900–$384,800, plus a 25% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Define and execute the innovation vision for Medical Affairs data, analytics, and AI.
• Lead development teams delivering patient journey analytics, advanced segmentation models, and stakeholder evaluation systems.
• Build proprietary AI/ML solutions and establish scalable data architecture, governance, security, ethics, and automation frameworks.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, research partnerships, vendors, and healthcare data platforms for internal adoption or development.
• Advise senior and executive leadership on data strategy, investment priorities, capability roadmaps, and business impact.
• Develop talent, lead transformational change, and manage teams and projects through direct and matrixed leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience, MBA with 10+ years, or PharmD/PhD with 7+ years.
• 10+ years of experience in data and analytics, including recent Medical Affairs experience.
• Leadership experience managing people and projects directly and through matrixed or indirect structures.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML, patient analytics, segmentation science, data platforms, pharmaceutical medicine, clinical trials, GCP, drug development, regulatory requirements, and compliance.
• Effective English communication across scientific, technical, promotional, patient, regulatory, and media contexts.
• For U.S. locations, candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the United States. U.S. visa sponsorship is not available.

• Advanced degree in data science or a related field.
