Director of Trust Operations

What you will do

• Oversee Trust Operations, including securities services, service delivery, special processing, business systems, and reconciliations.
• Set the Trust Operations strategy in alignment with Wealth Management objectives.
• Manage relationships with internal bank departments and critical external vendors, including contracts, performance, compliance, and solution implementation.
• Partner with auditors and state and federal banking and securities regulators to address requirements, findings, and corrective actions.
• Lead continuity planning, wire transfer authority oversight, and business continuity coordination.
• Direct technical projects such as mergers, acquisitions, system conversions, new product launches, and process automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• 10 years of banking experience, including 7 years in operations.
• 5 years of management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of personal, institutional, and corporate trust; investment management; retirement services; securities operations; and transfer agency.
• Strong knowledge of securities, transfer agency, information technology, corporate governance, and Trust industry regulations.
• Experience with Trust accounting, investment management systems, wire transfers, treasury management, financial reporting, planning, and budgeting.

Nice to have

• CPA, MBA, or CSOP designation.
