Location: Framingham, Massachusetts; full-time onsite work in an analytical laboratory. US and Puerto Rico residents only.

Salary: $85,500–$123,500 annually

What you will do

• Develop and execute cell-based assays and immunoassays to assess potency, biological activity, and impurities for biologics programs.
• Develop, optimize, qualify, and transfer analytical methods including ELISA and flow cytometry assays.
• Support sample stability studies, characterization, comparability, and technology transfer activities.
• Design and execute complex experiments, troubleshoot assay issues, and analyze scientific data.
• Author protocols, technical reports, investigation reports, method documentation, and regulatory filing support documents.
• Collaborate with analytical, CMC, Quality, Manufacturing, CMO, and CRO stakeholders.

Requirements

• PhD with 0–1+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ years, or a bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in analytical development.
• Scientific background in cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with cell-based assays, immunoassays such as ELISA, and/or flow cytometry.
• Experience with experimental design, analytical method development and qualification, mammalian cell culture, and protein purification processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Framingham, Massachusetts.

Nice to have

• Experience with method validation and sample stability testing.
• Knowledge of biochemical and biophysical techniques including U/HPLC, CGE, cIEF, spectroscopy, and particle analysis.
• Experience with biologics manufacturing, including monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, or other biotherapeutics.
