Future Talent - Automation Engineer (AI)

Location: Beijing, China; onsite role

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, and continuously improve automation equipment.
• Design, develop, and implement factory automation applications and projects.
• Develop PLC programs and HMI/SCADA applications using Siemens TIA Portal and Step 7.
• Apply AI, machine learning, and computer vision to production and equipment data for efficiency, stability, and predictive problem prevention.
• Design electrical hardware, including schematics, hardware layouts, and component selection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation projects with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Technical knowledge and hands-on experience with automation and control systems, PLC, HMI, SCADA, and related tools.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or C++.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering, industrial automation, object-oriented programming, databases, computer networks, and microcomputer principles.
• Experience with data analysis and processing using digital tools; understanding of IIoT concepts.
• CET-6 or above and strong English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience developing automation or AI-related projects.
• Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, or computer vision.
