Edge AI Field Application Engineer Intern (AI)

hirify.global develops semiconductor platforms, processors, AI accelerators, and related software for embedded and Edge AI applications.

What you will do

• Develop and debug Edge AI applications and proof-of-concept projects based on NXP processors, AI accelerators, and software platforms.
• Work with Field Applications Engineering engineers to create technical applications and demonstrations.
• Investigate Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and related tools.
• Evaluate, prototype, and implement AI-based tools to improve team productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in AI technologies, particularly Edge AI, with familiarity with machine learning frameworks, AI models, or AI development tools.
• Programming experience with C, C++, and/or Python.
• Familiarity with Linux and embedded software or hardware development is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to explore and learn new technologies.

Nice to have

• Fluent English communication skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
