Salesforce Functional Application Architect (Billing)

Location: Westminster, Colorado, US — 4 days in the office and 1 day from home

Salary: $144,600–$198,800 annually, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Own the functional architecture for subscription, usage-based, and hybrid billing models in Salesforce.
• Design high-volume integrations between Salesforce Billing and ERP, revenue recognition, tax, and payment platforms.
• Translate business requirement epics into functional specifications, user stories, and technical blueprints.
• Align billing outputs and financial controls with global finance, revenue operations, and engineering stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and optimize invoice generation, proration logic, and system synchronization.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem with deep functional Salesforce Billing expertise.
• Experience designing complex integrations between billing applications and downstream ERP or financial systems.
• Strong understanding of the quote-to-cash lifecycle, subscription management, and financial reconciliation.
• Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to work in the Westminster, Colorado office 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating Salesforce Billing with SAP or Oracle.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition platforms, tax engines, and payment gateways.
• Experience with high-volume, enterprise-scale monetization and billing environments.
