What you will do
- Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for API, integration, contract, regression, and architectural testing.
- Develop API testing strategies covering functionality, integrations, data integrity, reliability, and system contracts.
- Build automated quality gates in CI/CD pipelines to prevent incorrect or non-compliant changes from reaching production.
- Validate API and data contracts, backward compatibility, schema evolution, and architectural invariants across distributed systems.
- Apply property-based testing, mutation testing, performance testing, and scalability validation to identify gaps and bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, DevOps, and data engineering teams while troubleshooting failures and improving the testing ecosystem.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, QA automation, data engineering, or software quality engineering.
- Strong experience designing test architectures and automation frameworks for complex or distributed systems.
- Expert-level API testing experience, including API development and integration.
- Experience integrating automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with property-based testing, mutation testing, API and data contracts, backward compatibility, schema evolution, and architectural invariants.
- Practical performance testing experience, with strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
