Multimedia Producer (AI)

Location: 275 Grove St, Auburndale, MA 02466, USA; hybrid work with in-person attendance three days a week or more

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year, based on experience

What you will do

• Produce discussion and interview videos, supporting talent and maintaining lighting, framing, audio, and video quality.
• Edit audio and video content and create short-form clips for social media distribution.
• Write copy for LinkedIn posts and YouTube Shorts, prepare branded intro and outro assets, and upload content with accurate metadata.
• Manage recording calendars, provide real-time technical support during podcast sessions, and maintain the media asset library.
• Track podcast analytics and collaborate with Editorial and Audience teams on distribution and strategic objectives.
• Identify workflow improvements using AI tools and automations and train journalists on relevant technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in video and audio editing and production, ideally in or directly with newsrooms.
• Strong knowledge of recording best practices, audio and video equipment, and remote digital recording platforms such as Riverside or StreamYard.
• Experience creating and optimizing content for YouTube, LinkedIn, Spotify, and other distribution platforms.
• Understanding of journalism principles, multimedia analytics, project management, and tracking tools.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead through influence.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, work independently, and collaborate across teams.

• Familiarity with AI tools for workflow automation.
• Experience working directly within a newsroom.
