Financial Analyst (Telecom)

What you will do

• Build and maintain Excel-based financial models for pricing, churn and retention, fiber investments, and network expansion.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and evaluations using NPV, IRR, and payback period methodologies.
• Own recurring reporting for subscriber growth, churn, ARPU, sales performance, channel mix, CPGA, and acquisition costs.
• Analyze customer lifetime value, acquisition efficiency, subscriber trends, cost drivers, and business performance.
• Track actual performance against forecasts and highlight variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare Excel and PowerPoint materials and translate financial results into clear outputs for senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, mathematics, statistics, or a related analytical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, or another analytical role.
• Experience with financial modeling, reporting, forecasting, or performance analysis in a business environment.
• Strong Excel skills, including data manipulation, scenario analysis, and formula-based analysis.
• Ability to work with large datasets, produce accurate outputs under tight timelines, and identify trends, variances, and business drivers.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior and cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in telecommunications, subscription-based, consumer, or capital-intensive businesses.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with customer lifetime value, CPGA, churn analysis, or subscriber-based business models.
• Experience supporting long-range planning processes.
