What you will do

• Review trade and electronic communications surveillance alerts for new and existing clients.
• Decode trader language and liaise with front-office staff to understand complex trading concepts.
• Identify and escalate communications or activities that may indicate market abuse, conflicts of interest, or other misconduct.
• Track regulatory and market developments and identify enhancements for surveillance controls and compliance processes.
• Research complex topics, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions that support business goals.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of the compliance product alongside subject-matter experts and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of market abuse and other misconduct in financial services.
• Good understanding of the regulatory landscape and sources of regulatory guidance.
• Good understanding of trader language, surveillance operating models, and governance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with excellent analytical ability.
• Genuine interest in hirify.global's mission, market, and technologies.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from the Belfast office.
