Senior Cloud Security Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid schedule with three days per week onsite in the San Francisco FiDi or Culver City office. The role is associated with offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Culver City, and Dallas, United States.

Salary: $170,000–$225,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Harden a multi-account AWS environment.
• Build cloud guardrails as code.
• Own cloud vulnerability and exposure management.
• Partner with Detection & Response on investigations involving cloud-origin events.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.
• Hands-on experience securing AWS, including IAM, organizations and SCPs, KMS, and networking.
• Experience securing Kubernetes and EKS environments.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform and CSPM tooling such as Wiz.
• Ability to script and automate with Python or Go, and familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD.
• B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or equivalent relevant experience, with strong communication, ownership, resilience, and creative problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated environments, fintech, or financial services.
• AWS Security Specialty or CKS certification.
