Insurance Officer - Intern (Fintech)

Location: Multiple locations across Iowa, United States; travel to Omaha, Nebraska is required three times during the internship

Salary: $20 per hour; qualified interns may also receive a $500 sign-on bonus

What you will do

• Gain exposure to sales of insurance products to customers and prospects.
• Learn customer prospecting resources and techniques.
• Observe marketing, sales, and prospecting calls with Insurance Officers.
• Assist with organizing and coordinating insurance programs in assigned marketing areas.
• Learn multi-peril and hail insurance products.
• Support public activities, office procedures, mailings, meetings, and assigned special projects.

Requirements

• Available for a 12-week summer internship.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in agricultural business, accounting, finance, agricultural economics, animal science, or a similar field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interest in agricultural finance, lending, and credit.
