Outside Sales Representative (Construction Supply)

What you will do

• Develop existing customer relationships and create new business partnerships.
• Sell solutions and related products to municipalities, private water companies, professional contractors, and other customers.
• Work with general contractors and municipalities to understand needs and exceed customer expectations.
• Provide proactive customer service while solving problems and managing sales details.
• Build and manage a flexible sales schedule in an outside-sales environment.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of outside sales experience preferred.
• Experience in construction supply or industrial distribution preferred.
• Prior experience working with general contractors and/or municipalities preferred.
• Competitive, determined, proactive approach with strong relationship-building skills.
• Strong integrity, persistence, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and customer-service orientation.
