Location: Sunnyvale, CA, USA; onsite laboratory role

Salary: USD 95,000–125,000 yearly

What you will do

• Perform SIMS analysis of thin films and test new and existing materials.
• Apply standard and non-standard analytical techniques to determine material composition, properties, and structure.
• Prepare detailed customer reports and interpret analytical findings.
• Review technical reports prepared by other analysts.
• Evaluate customer requests, define testing requirements, and prepare project quotations.
• Manage schedule, budget, performance requirements, and potentially direct phases of revenue-producing projects.

Requirements

• PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Engineering.
• Experience with materials characterization and surface analysis techniques.
• Experience using materials characterization tools.
• Familiarity with quality system documents and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, judgment, organizational, written communication, and computer skills.
• Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, political asylee, or refugee.
