Field Service Technician

Location: Rosh HaAyin, Israel; office/site only

Service role within hirify.global’s Gas Services organization, supporting power generation equipment for customers.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, overhaul, calibrate, configure, and commission gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and other electromechanical systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve difficult and non-routine mechanical and electromechanical malfunctions using technical drawings, service documentation, and test equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, equipment assessments, repairs, and component replacement or upgrade activities.
• Lead onsite operations in non-routine situations, delegate tasks, review work, and train customer personnel and junior staff.
• Maintain customer communication and prepare service reports, investigation findings, and equipment maintenance logs.
• Follow EHS, quality control, site safety, and process improvement standards.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a mechanical technician or fitter in an industrial or heavy equipment environment.
• Vocational training or an associate degree in electromechanics, electronics, or a related technical field.
• Ability to read and use engineering drawings, technical documentation, and service procedures.
• Working English for technical communication and documentation.
• Willingness to travel worldwide and work for extended periods away from home.
• 10-hour OSHA General Industry Card and a strong commitment to health, safety, quality, and teamwork.

Nice to have

• Experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, or generators.
• Experience training or delegating work to junior team members.
