Student Engineering Intern (Structural)

Location: Anchorage, Alaska, USA; work is based in the Anchorage office

What you will do

• Support engineering project teams with design calculations and technical documentation.
• Prepare drawings and construction documents for facility and utility projects.
• Assist with construction administration and site observation activities.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, construction inspectors, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Learn professional services, design, and construction processes under the guidance of senior staff and technical mentors.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an engineering degree.
• Prior experience in design or construction is preferred.
• Computer skills and experience using modern collaboration technologies.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week during the summer months in Anchorage.
