Strategist - Investment Product Development

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid work environment with remote and onsite work

Base salary: $123,000–$177,500 per year, plus eligibility for a competitive incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the development, enhancement, and management of investment products across distribution channels.
• Lead cross-functional teams through product launches, product changes, and ongoing product management initiatives.
• Prepare project plans, documentation, and analyses for the product approval process.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on investment vehicles and product structures across the Global Product and Distribution organizations.
• Monitor industry trends, market developments, competitor activity, and MFS positioning to support product strategy.
• Evaluate product opportunities and support market sizing, competitor analysis, pricing reviews, and product comparisons.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6–8+ years of experience in financial services, investment products, product development, product management, market research, or competitive analysis.
• Working knowledge of investment products, product structures, and distribution channels.
• Experience conducting research, analyzing data, and translating findings into business insights.
• Strong project management, organizational, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate across Investments, Distribution, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and other organizational functions.
