Creative Lead (Nuclear Energy)

Location: Los Angeles, with the primary facility in Torrance, California; approximately 25% travel to Idaho Falls, Aiken, Washington, DC, San Antonio, and other sites.

Salary: $112K–$150K per year, plus a significant stock option package.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the visual identity, brand standards, creative guidelines, and design systems.
• Shoot, edit, and design photography, video, and other content for social media, websites, press, events, and executive communications.
• Brief, direct, and manage creative agencies and production vendors on campaigns, website projects, and video series.
• Set priorities and deadlines and oversee external partners from project scoping through delivery.
• Execute the creative vision for campaigns, announcements, and key brand moments in partnership with Communications.
• Build a culture of craft, speed, and continuous improvement within the creative function.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in visual content creation, multimedia production, or an equivalent field.
• Portfolio showing self-produced photography, video, and design work, as well as work directed through agencies or production teams.
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, plus professional video editing proficiency with Premiere or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Reliable self-starter with strong attention to detail and sound judgment about content capture and publication in a regulated, security-conscious industry.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or be eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations under U.S. Government export regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience shooting in industrial, technical, or field environments, especially energy, aerospace, defense, or manufacturing.
• Venture-backed startup experience.
• Experience with digital asset management systems and content calendars.
• Familiarity with energy, nuclear, defense, or deep-tech audiences.
• Experience presenting creative concepts to executives and cross-functional stakeholders while managing multiple projects in an ambiguous environment.
