Junior/Mid-Level IT Software Engineer (.NET/Web)

Location: Hybrid work with 24 hours per week in the office; external candidates must reside within 30 miles of an office in Centennial, CO; Lincoln, NE; Madison, WI; Boise, ID; or Brownsville, TX. U.S. citizenship is required for the federal security clearance.

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 annually.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and support enterprise imaging and document management systems.
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements, design documents, and technical specifications.
• Build and maintain high-volume backend services in C#/.NET and frontend applications with Angular.
• Develop efficient SQL and work with relational databases, preferably SQL Server.
• Monitor application performance, debug existing code, diagnose production issues, and participate in on-call and release processes.
• Apply secure coding, clean architecture, testing, documentation, and software development lifecycle practices.

Requirements

• Junior- or mid-level software development experience; approximately 2–5+ years preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET, TypeScript or JavaScript, Angular, SQL, and Git.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests, participating in code reviews, and applying secure coding practices informed by standards such as NIST.
• Ability to analyze logs, trace distributed workflows, use monitoring tools, and work in agile, team-oriented environments.
• Ability to obtain a federal security clearance and hold U.S. citizenship; foreign-national clearance applications are not accepted for this position.
