Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure)

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, Texas, with at least 3 days per week in the office. On-call duty is required for up to 1 week per month.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable, highly available, multi-region Azure infrastructure for healthcare solutions.
• Build enterprise-grade cloud platforms with cloud architects, engineers, application developers, security, compliance, and business teams.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform to automate Azure resource provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Maintain monitoring, observability, alerting, incident response, cost optimization, and operational documentation.
• Contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, uptime strategies, and mentorship of junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering and 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Experience working in regulated environments, ideally healthcare, with HIPAA and/or SOC compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of cloud security practices including identity and access management, encryption, monitoring, and logging, along with strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience managing Azure App Services, networking, and storage solutions.
• Experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Relevant Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator.
