Senior Product Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in the New York Office or Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania

Salary: $148,000–$247,000 for Tier 1 or $130,000–$217,000 for Tier 2, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Build product security across hirify.global SaaS offerings in partnership with product and platform engineering.
• Lead security code reviews, penetration tests, threat modeling, and secure design reviews for new products.
• Secure internal AI platforms and coding agents through LLM gateways, prompt and response controls, and agent permissioning.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities through static and dynamic code analysis across the SDLC.
• Build security automation into CI/CD pipelines and contribute fixes directly to product repositories.
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation for high-severity production security incidents.

Requirements

• 5+ years of application security engineering experience.
• Strong production coding ability in Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or Go.
• Hands-on penetration testing of production SaaS applications and experience addressing OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Experience building security automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience securing internal AI or LLM platforms and coding agents.
• Knowledge of cloud and container environments, including AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience with Web3, blockchain, or digital assets.
• Experience building AI workflows, agents, and guardrails.
• Experience with Terraform, Wiz, SonarCloud, Burp, Cloudflare, GitHub Actions, and Artifactory.
