Technology Risk Consulting Intern (Information Technology)

Location: Boston, with travel to assigned client locations as required

Compensation: $33–$39 per hour

What you will do

• Support technology risk management, internal audit, and assurance engagements.
• Help design and optimize controls across business processes, accounting systems, and information technologies.
• Identify internal control deficiencies, evaluate risk implications, and develop conclusions for client recommendations.
• Create internal control documentation supporting client engagements.
• Engage with client leadership on strategies for anticipating emerging technology risks.
• Contribute to SOX and regulatory compliance, SOC reporting, IT controls testing, technical IT reviews, and audits of ERP and IT security systems.

Requirements

• 90 credit hours completed toward a B.A., B.S., or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• Major in accounting, information systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations and arrange reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, multitasking, project management, teamwork, integrity, and professionalism.
• CPA, CISA, or CIA certification, or progress toward certification, is preferred but not required.
