Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Design and build production-grade cloud infrastructure for the semantic AI platform.
• Own infrastructure architecture decisions from initial design through deployment and scaling.
• Establish infrastructure standards, best practices, tooling, and deployment automation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage production Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement monitoring, observability, logging, security, networking, and access control.
• Design and operate relational, NoSQL, and other data infrastructure at scale.

Requirements

• 5–12 years of experience building and operating production cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Production experience architecting and managing Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration platforms.
• Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including networking, storage, compute, and managed services.
• Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end infrastructure projects and stable employment history.
• Ability to work on-site in San Mateo, California, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with data pipeline or data infrastructure systems.
• Familiarity with knowledge graphs, semantic systems, or graph databases.
• Experience with ML infrastructure or AI/ML platform systems.
• Experience in early-stage or high-growth startup environments.
