Receiving Lead - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Forney, Texas, USA; onsite manufacturing and warehouse environment; 2nd shift

Starting wage: $26 per hour

What you will do

• Oversee and participate in shipping, receiving, storage, issuing, and delivery of materials to manufacturing operations.
• Prioritize department workload and direct materials and warehouse personnel to support production needs.
• Maintain receiving and inventory control records, daily cycle counts, FIFO rotation, and transactional accuracy.
• Investigate Oracle and eKanban inventory or transaction issues and collaborate with Supply Chain Planning and Strategic Sourcing to resolve supplier issues.
• Train warehouse personnel in job responsibilities, safety procedures, Oracle, scanning equipment, and material-handling vehicles.
• Support continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety and company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; five years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate and train others on material-handling equipment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to use Oracle for receipt entry, material transfers, eKanban, and related transactions.
• Ability to communicate across multiple organizational levels.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
