Student Ultrasound - Part Time / Sundays

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States. Sunday shift from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Shadow credentialed ultrasound technologists and learn scanning techniques, patient interactions, and imaging protocols.
• Participate in supervised ultrasound exams in obstetrics, gynecology, abdominal, vascular, and musculoskeletal imaging.
• Prepare, monitor, and assist patients during procedures, including positioning and transfers.
• Support scheduling, room turnover, record accuracy, and other daily department operations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and radiologists to support timely and accurate diagnoses.
• Continue developing sonography knowledge and skills in preparation for ARDMS certification.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited CAAHEP sonography program recognized by ARDMS; second-year students are preferred.
• High school diploma required; ability to obtain BLS certification during orientation.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills and willingness to learn imaging software systems.
• Ethical judgment, critical thinking, effective communication, and ability to work independently or collaboratively under pressure.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and assist with patient positioning and transfers.
